New York City
NYC: Liberty Island, Wall Street, Ground Zero and Brooklyn Bridge (to do)
One of the most famous areas in New York City, in Downtown you can find:
New York City: American Museum of Natural History
The American Museum of Natural History is, maybe, the less excitating thing to visit in NYC but it an important stop to understand our origins not available everywhere.
Recently it has been enriched of a famous fossil: Ida an important ring in the chain of the human evolution.
Modern art in New York City: Moma (To Do) and Guggenheim
I'm not a lover of modern art and I kept the visit to Moma last and least. What I can say is that fortunatelly I was in time to visit it! It deservs a visit, no doubts! I discovered there on thursady it was for free. A little bit crowded but free. The free antrance day changes during year and you can find details in the official website.
New York City: Rockefeller Center (To Do)
Absolutelly to do! Just have a look to the pictures below. If you want to see NYC from the top that's the perfect place!
The Meat Packing District
The Meat Packing District has quite a few bars and is a bit of a young crowd making the scene and I found it a bit for the younger travellers, but the Spice Market also has a bar so check it out. Pastis is worth checking out if for the crowd alone.
The Shake Shack
The best burger in NYC, the line up wait is a pain but it’s worth it. Outside dining only so it may be too cold if travelling in Winter, so get it take away.
City Girl Café
The guys there are very NYC cool (the way they looked and dressed reminded me of the Dandy Warhols) and they pull a good espresso.
