Barcelona: Park Güell

Built between 1900 and 1914, Park Güell, comes form a business idea of the industrial entrepreneur Eusebi Güell who wanted to develop a residential area in the surroundings of Barcelona.

Despite the project was assigned to the great architect Antoni Gaudí instead of the sixty rich houses of the original project, only three were built. By the way it is possible to admire the park structure and the market area.

Park Güell like other Gaudí's works is registered inside the UNESCO humanity heritage list.

The park can be reached by metro with two lines:

• L3 (Dark Green): Vallarca
