Sintra: Palácio Nacional da Pena

 30 minutes far from Lisbon there is Sintra with its Pena Palace. The former summer residence of the Portuguese Royal Family, now just a museum.

It is a place not to miss because of its wonderful architecture, its colours and its garden. Remember to dedicate at least 30 minutes to walk around it.

The map below shows the secondary entrance (a), those that allow a better view of the garden and to bypass the most of the queue of the main entrance (b).
